In 2010, we took everything we'd learned about styling and frame fit and made something of our own: the Alexander Daas eyewear brand. It sits proudly alongside the independent makers we've championed for years, and for many clients, it's become the first place they look.
Beautiful frames deserve lenses to match, and this is where our obsession shows. We work only with precision-focused manufacturers to guarantee the highest optical quality, and our digital lens designs deliver HD-quality vision. Our anti-reflective coating is super hydrophobic, anti-static and packed with rich features. So much so, we back it with a two-year warranty against surface defects, crazing or minor scratches.
For progressives, we work with every major manufacturer, including IOT, Seiko, Shamir, Varilux, Zeissand more. But our own Daas Digital Progressive lens is our top choice. It delivers comfort and the widest corridor of vision, and customers consistently tell us it's the biggest "wow" they've had in eyewear, thanks to its individual customization, enhanced field of vision and effortless shift from distance to computer to reading.
We also know every prescription and every set of eyes behaves a little differently, which is why we stand behind a 90-day non-adapt policy. If a design isn't working for you, our opticians will get on the phone or a video call, work out what will, and remake your lenses for optimal performance.
Here's a detail most people never think about: where lenses actually get made. Most shops send theirs out to mass-production and insurance labs. We don't. We cut and mount every pair in our own on-site lab, where highly trained lab specialists edge and finish your lenses with state-of-the-art equipment. Your frames get individual attention, never an assembly line.
