• Built Out of Necessity: Moritz Krueger had a vision for his eyewear brand that existing third-party machinery wasn't equipped to handle. To build the high-end, flat stainless steel frames, MYKITA set up its own production line and to this day, still handles production in-house. 
• The 11-Press Bend: To achieve the final ergonomic temple blend, Swedish spring steel goes through 11 distinct custom presses.
• R&D: To test the structural integrity, MYKITA uses a workshop with specialized tools to bend, twist and contort the frames, ensuring they don't break under pressure.
• Recycled and Sustainable: Built with the environment in mind, MYKITA’s classic stainless steel frames are made with 90% recycled Swedish spring steel.
• Designed With Acetate Renew: MYKITA completely transitioned its acetate supply to Acetate Renew, an ISCC-certified sustainable material.
• Selective Laser Sintering: For MYKITA MYLON eyewear, 3D printing technology is used to fuse fine polyamide powder via CO2 lasers.
